This book felt like reading the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo for the first time then add in an enemies to friends to lovers trope. Loved the way the story was written and definitely my favorite Emily Henry book to date. Only thing that kept it from being a 5 star read for me was the very quick third act break up and reconciliation. Otherwise great read!!

This book was cute, but kind of silly and not very engaging. The parts about Margaret's life were fascinating, but the whole two authors 'love story' was quite silly and sometimes just ridiculous. And, I wasn't sure about the narrator, but I will admit, this is my first audio book.

Margaret’s story wasn’t my favorite, I liked the idea of including it, but the beginning of her family’s story was kinda dragging and sort of took away from the romance between Alice and Hayden. Because of their situation, I wish we would’ve gotten more of their story at the end, living their lives outside the small town bubble. However, an Emily Henry story will always be great and I did still really enjoyed it
