Too much talk about getting pregnant, "baby Jesus", and religion. It was difficult to get past the beginning. I was excited for the queer aspect of the book, but was told by a queer friend that it fell pretty flat.

Honestly not action packed, it’s very tame for something that feels like it’s very plot  driven. I fell in love with The Kid though, wish there was more of her!!

I think I liked this? I honestly cannot tell. The first 100-150 pages dragged for me, then it picked up quickly and stopped abruptly. I feel like I both know the characters and don't know them at all. Very conflicted about this one.
