This novel wasn’t groundbreaking, it followed some normal thriller tropes (woman has trauma, mental illness, no one believes her) BUT it absolutely had me guessing, I really did not see the Anne/Carrie fiasco happening - nor did I honestly expect Lo to survive.
Having it set on a cruise ship was the scariest part. That feeling of literally having no place to go - was written very well, and definitely creeped me out.
The burglary was still the scariest part for me for some reason - I really expected that to come back but it just ended up being really unfortunate for Lo.
Can we get a moment of silence of Ben? Ended up being a decent guy, with just some creepy tendencies. I’ll definitely read more by this author.
