An astonishing collection of poetry. Drawing from the truly horrific and finding a language of dark beauty to put words to that which is so often silenced. These are important poems that help give a voice and articulation to those who may feel alone or have felt along when going through a similar experience. For those of us who haven’t had this experience it helps build our empathy. With raw and emotive language I was left pierced by its directness.
