This was a fun ride. It played like an action movie in my head, that’s how propulsive and fun the writing is. I only wish it had a little…more?
More deaths, more blood, more gore? Maybe I just wanted it to be more of a horror novel than it was. Although there’s murder it’s a bit family friendly for me.

Enjoyable read. Especially liked that while, yeah, they were stupid to go to an island with complete strangers, nothing else indicated that the people were that crazy. I hate when characters ignore multiple signs, luckily Heather was written better than that.

I truly enjoy this author’s books. If you haven’t read The Chain, you need to! This book was not AS good as The Chain, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit! The plot was pretty good and I enjoyed the survival aspect of everything. I did find myself a bit confused at the beginning of some of the chapters as it wasn’t very clear about which character was narrating at the time. I felt like it dragged on a little too long, but in the end I really did enjoy this book!
