I want to thank the author and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book in advance!

I thought this was a great book about a brother’s enemy who just happens to be a secret lover. Working through past family issues, sports, school, family and friends this story has it all! And a lot of spicy spice which for me was great! I enjoyed this book!

This was the best from the series. I’ve read the others a few weeks ago but didn’t like Sebastian and Mia their story. It took a while to get through so I’ve been putting Wicked Serve off for the longest time. But wanted my tbr tackled so started it and finished it in the same day. I loved Nikolai and Isabelle wish I picked it up earlier

i absolutely loved this book but i also think that because its so unrealistic that it was hard for me looking back at it. my other favorite book of this series the second because it was a trauma filled real life love and this one was very similar dont get me wrong but they were also on a whim flying places (super cool i literally wish) like the billionaire boyfriend vibes were not what i was expecting in the college setting and that always throws me in these types of books. however that aside i do think that their love was real, patient and kind and it is worth the read

i absolutely loved the free and easy feeling of this book and it took no time at all to hook me with the banter and cuteness izzy and nikolai displayed!

the characters ―୨୧⋆ ˚
i found both izzy and nikolai characters i loved spending the book with - they were funny , had such great communication and were generally such a cute couple to read about . i loved how they supported each other and continued to fight in each others corner despiste a tiny 3rd act break..

plot ―୨୧⋆ ˚
the plot in wicked serve felt very easy to follow and enjoyable .. i must admit i was a lot sceptical of the direction as i didn’t love first downs ending however wicked serve absolutely delivered and i could tell this was grace reilly’s later book in the series!

overall, a cute easy romcom that i really enjoyed

Quotes:

The High Line at sunset is pretty.
Isabelle Callahan at sunset is stunning.
-Nikolai (Prologue)

“You’re a beam of light in a person, Isabelle. So fucking beautiful.”
-Nikolai (Ch. 1)

I’ve never loved someone like this, but I recognize the truth of it instinctively. I don’t just care for Isabelle. I don’t just want the best for her. I love her.
-Nik (Ch. 59)

“I love you.” She cups my jaw, stroking over my beard, and repeats the phrase in Russian, her voice strong and steady. “You’re my favorite, Kolya.”
I kiss her with abandon, with heat, with everything in my soul. “You found it?”
“Did you know even then?”
“Yes,” I whisper against her lips. “Even then.”
-Izzy and Nik (Ch. 74)

I can’t change my past, but I can shape my own future. She’s the only one I want by my side. My partner. My future wife. My home. I sweep her into my arms, my heart settling at the way she smiles. “Always, Isabelle.”
-Nik (Ch. 74)

Ridiculously long and boring
