First of All .. how on earth is this a debut novel?!? 🤯 This book was so well written and so well thought out I find it hard to believe that this isn’t book 10 or 20 for this author. This book follows along with a foster family/adoption storyline and some of the characters are deaf so the author has included sign language and ASL representation in the book. Anything that was signed was bolded in the book which I LOVED. It has a bit of a slow burn between the grumpy & sunshine characters but they are both such good people with only the best intentions so the slow burn MAKES SENSE. If any of this sounds confusing just please read the book. I can’t amp it up enough. It was soo good.
