I really enjoyed seeing what happened to all of the characters after Ensnared.

Untamed is a collection of Novella's that go along with the main books of the Splintered series. These provide extra details that didn't make it into the stories. Untamed also includes The boy in the web, this is about Alyssa's moms time in Wonderland rescuing her now husband. Moth in the mirror which I had already read, Morpheus decides to dive into Jeb's memories, and Six impossible things is Alyssa's recollection of her life after Ensnared. I love little novellas like this allow you to get more but without unnecessary fluff.

FINALLY. I got to see the prophesied child! That's literally the only reason I read this. I NEEDED to see their happily ever after. I shipped them SO hard.

Note: I am not a teenager, so please consider this review/rating accordingly.
CW: Sexual harassment, sexual assault, unhealthy romantic relationship representation (Morpheus & Alyssa - their relationship should not be held up as anything healthy that anyone should hope to attain), and fatphobia/fatmisia in the form of a bad character being unnecessarily fat (Yes, please have diverse characters in your stories, but do not make the only marginalized character in your story the bad guy. Just... don't.)
"The Boy in the Web" really got to me in a bad way. It was just unnecessarily graphic and othering toward fat people; it's the reason for most of the content warnings above. Not a fan of that story.
I just feel, after listening to all the books in this series, that teens should be very careful about reading it. It's a really fun and interesting series, don't get me wrong. However, the portrayal of Alyssa and Morpheus' relationship (and Morpheus in general) is just rather dangerous. I know, they're netherlings, and they're supposed to be manipulative, cunning, and "mad," but I still worry about teens reading this series and getting a warped idea of what's okay to expect in a romantic relationship. Maybe I'm being anxious over nothing, but I just felt like I should make note of the issues I perceived.

Again. This book just was not what I was hoping for. I was expecting to get a little more insight into a couple things, but really, this didn't add much to the story for me.
The Boy in the Web
I was really expecting this story to be about when Alyssa's mom found and rescued Thomas. Instead, all this was was them preparing for a date night and then going to the memory train to watch his memories of being chosen, trained and what happened that day he crossed into Wonderland. I wanted to know how she came across him, freed him, and escaped to the human world. This? Not exciting at all, and not that interesting.
Moth in the Mirror
Already read this one before: my review of it.
Six Impossible Things
This began with an expansion of the end of the last book telling us exactly how Alyssa faked her death and went back to Wonderland. It also had numerous flashbacks and memories. Some were really sweet, others I didn't much care for. We get the birth of Alyssa and Morpheus's first child as well, which was not an easy one.
One thing that bugged me the most was the fact that when Alyssa returned and put the crown back on she returned to the age she was crowned at. I get it. I really do. Wonderland magic of the eternally young and all that. But 16 is an absolutely ridiculous age to turn her back to. At least make her a damn adult! Eighteen or twenty something would have worked perfectly fine. And the fact that a big deal was made about her being "pure and untouched" once again had me rolling my eyes so much.

Enjoyed these novellas that serve as both a reminder of the previous books and a continuation of Alyssa's story. Although parts were sad, I was aware that sadness would have to occur for her to move forward to Wonderland.
Perhaps we shall see what happens with the children in the future!
