Omg that ended way too quickly! Man Kelley Armstrong always gets me so wrapped up the story I'm Always so upset when I get the last page. My brain is screaming right to know what happens next! I can't wait for "The Rising" to come out next spring!

Excellent as always! I don't like Kat as much as Chloe or Maya yet, but I haven't had an entire book to get to know her either. I'd love to read more of Kat's life as a new vampire.

Kat is a genetically altered vampire. She and her guardian are getting ready to head to NYC to find out more about her condition when she is kidnapped.

This is a short story, not an entire novel. Fun premise, fun characters.

I'd forgotten how much I liked these short stories accompanying the Darkest Powers and Darkness Rising series. While I've found that I seem to have 'outgrown' a lot of my older YA favourites, re-reading these books only reminded me of how much I loved them the first time I read them.

Kelley Armstrong's writing style is perfect - not too fast or rushed, but not dragging, either; it's well-paced and a perfect mix of excitement, drama, humour, and romance, the latter of which is so tastefully done that never once did I catch myself thinking 'ugh' (which I have been doing a lot whilst reading YA romance lately - because of insta-love, love triangles, protagonists putting hoes before bros, or couples being lovey-dovey in the most dire of circumstances, when they really have more important things to worry about).

Hallelujah, Kelley Armstrong. Re-reading your books has been a step towards restoring my faith in the YA genre.

Hunting Kat is the sequal to Kat, a short story in the Darkest Powers series.

Kat, after her complete change into a vampire is enjoying her new life, despite Mags babysiting her and telling her she's not ready yet to fed from the source.

Kat and Mags were suppose to met expersts on Vampires, Mags friends but Kat lousy driving skills got her separated and captured by Bounty Hunters.

What will they do with her? I would leave that to your wild imagination~

I just love how action, and tense it feels with each page. I love Kat and how conflicted she was about the feeding. She wants to fed but afraid she'd be judge, be aliented. It really touched me and I think we can all feel that why when we want to shared with someone our friendship despite the diffculties it has from both parties.

Also, a love interest, Neil who's the cutest guy and perfect for Kat. Now if only there will be another Kat story I'd be stasified~
