The art is beautiful. I like the palette and art style. I don't like how over-exaggerated the proportions of the female characters are and interesting how the gods all walk on the ball of their feet. Also, Demeter, Persephone’s mom, is Hera's sister, not friend.

I like that the elements of Greek mythology (the amount of sexual content and sexual assault and sly behaviour) is illustrated and addressed here rather than brushed off.

Lore Olympus proved to be a delightful and swift read. The characters were enjoyable, and I intend to continue with the rest of the series. It serves as a g eat go-to "just for fun" book, offering a light read between more intense ones.

Wow! I became immediately obsessed with this series! I am so incredibly invested in Hades and Persephone’s love story now. First of all the look and style of this graphic novel is gorgeous. It’s done so well that even if I didn’t love the story I would keep the books as beautiful artwork. But the content of the story is JUST as good. There are a lot of Hades and Persephone inspired books out there and I think Lore Olympus officially became my favorite and it’ll be hard to top it. It is a modern retelling of Hades and Persephone’s story from Greek Mythology with a full cast of Greek gods and goddesses as side characters. I love the depiction of the characters. Hades is the perfect brooding if somewhat awkward grump to Persephone’s young and naive sunshine. Their story is so wholesome and adorable and gives me such a warm feeling, plus their slow burn has me hooked! The humor is also great, like with the sibling relationship between Hades, Zeus, and Apollo which is hilarious! But at the same time, the book doesn’t stray away from the dark side of mythology and gives you that as well, through both satire and genuine issues experienced by our main characters. I flew through this first volume and already picked up the next one. This is definitely a new favorite!

This is story is an emotional rollercoaster! The art is truly beautiful and I quickly found myself fully immersed in the story. Although there are some challenging parts to read, I love most of the characters (especially Eros, Hades, and Persephone) and became quickly attached to them. I read this story through the webtoon website first, and had to pick up the print version because I immediately wanted to re-read it. I would recommend the print version since it has extra/exclusive chapters!!
