This book is about three former kid detectives who return to the sight of their last case to figure out what truly happened and hopefully get rid of the nightmares haunting them. I loved this book so much. It was everything I expected it to be and more based on the synopsis. I loved all the characters and they felt so real. This book was very well plotted and I didn't see any of the twists coming. The horror was really well done and the book is incredibly well paced with the horror elements starting earlier than I initially expected them to. The book switches between traditional prose and a more script like style of writing which some people might hate but I really enjoyed. I will definitely be reading everything else this author has written and this is definitely a contender for my favourite book of the year!

It was enjoyable enough, but there was some weird ass shit that I don’t vibe with in here. Don’t know wtf the author was on, but needs to seriously rethink some things.

A fun story that definitely brings the Scooby Doo vibes- not always for the better. Sometimes, a little more seriousness might have helped the plot. Also, the continuous anthropomorphisizing of one character's hair got extremely grating after a while.

It was okay. I liked the premise more than the actual book. I didn't care much for any of the characters and the relationships often felt forced.
