FINALLY I FINISHED THIS BOOK OMFG
i liked graysons part more than jamesons. i would’ve preferred two novellas than one joint book, i felt like i was forgetting details and it was hard when the two storylines weren’t really connected.
i need to be best friends with gigi grayson. i’m so serious. like i’m so obsessed with her.
i gasped at the plot twist bc i FOR SURE thought it would’ve been about tobias but nope!
i’ve said it once and i’ll say it again, why do all JLB books walk the fine line of incest.

I've loved the Inheritance Games series, but compared to the first 3 books, this was a huge letdown. It felt like we took a huge step back in the progression of the story.
It was missing the family aspect. The brotherly love and rivalry were nowhere to be found. It felt like Grayson especially kept pushing away his family.
There wasn't any trust or communication between any of them. Especially Avery and Jameson, whose relationship felt strained throughout the book.
The storyline fell short. It was actually kind of boring. It didn't pick up until around 70 percent, which was disappointing. I also missed the mystery and games that we normally see in these books.
One thing I did enjoy was the flashbacks. They gave us insight into the boys' relationship with their grandfather.
Personally, I don't like the direction the story is going. I didn't find myself connecting with any of the new characters, which also worked against my enjoyment of the book. Plus, I think we deserve some justice for Grayson.
