3 stars. I think this new installment, while unnecessary, is definitely better than the original series. And that all comes down to the fact that we’re no longer following Avery and are focused solely on the point of views of the Hawthorne boys which I find that I prefer. The plot of this series overall is still so incredibly silly but this one was fun and definitely kept me interested. I liked the reveals and plot twists thrown in and the ending left off at a point where I will for sure be picking up the next book. Never thought I would review this series positively but here we are.

It's fun to get to read from Jamesons and Graysons point of views. Though I thought that Graysons story was a bit boring, I felt like nothing much happened. Happy that finally there wasn't a love triangle!!
