Eh. Road trip, get caught, get knocked out. Road trip, get caught, get knocked out. More terrified road trip, more fear of capture. It just goes on and on.

To be honest I was a little disappointed when I first started reading. I loved the first book so much and it took me until halfway through the book before I started to truly enjoy this. I think this could have been because the first part of the book was Ruby being part of the league. Ruby had been taken by the league and helped them with their missions. She had changed so much since she had been with the league, it's like she had become numb and empty and because of this the story also came across a bit dull.

Once Ruby went on her secret mission and we come across some of those favourites characters from the first book does the pace pick up again. I can look past this slow start because the rest of the book was so good.

I mentioned in my review for the first book that I hope we get a bit more information about why/how the kids got their powers, we don't know exactly why/how but we are given hints and I can't wait to see everything revealed in the last book.

There was a jaw dropping moment at the end of the book (not as much as the first) but it was devastating enough. Those who have read this may know what I'm talking about, I almost cried :(

Thank you to Disney Hyperion and Netgalley for my copy.

That had to be the most hilarious ending to a book I've ever seen in my life.

I love the Stewart brothers. I love Ruby. I love Chubs. and Vida. and Jude. They are my babies and I will protect them at all costs.

Oh. My. Gosh. This book had so much action and tension! I loved the new characters introduced (Jude, Vida and Cole) as well as the opportunity to get to know old characters even better (Ruby, Chubs, Cate). I was biting my fingers, waiting for Liam to make a re-appearance and when he finally did it was definitely NOT what I had expected. It was heart-wrenching in more than a few places (like the end--hello!?). The pace of Never Fade and the characters are so different and changed from TDM but both are equally and uniquely fantastic. Well done, Ms. Bracken.

I have some mixed feelings with this book. I found it incredibly hard to get through, but interesting none the least.
The things I didn't like:
1. How slow moving it seemed at times.
2. How the only relevant part of the story was the last 100 pages, the first 400 were somewhat unnecessary.
3.
SpoilerThat my favorite character had to die at the end, i'm still sad about it

4. How jumbled things got at times, felt as if too much was happening at one point in time.
5. There was no Zu whatsoever, only brief mentions of her from events in the last book.

The things I did like:
1. Jude, he has become my favorite character in the entire series.
2. How we were able to see how everyone has grown and changed after the ending of the 1st book.
3. The new characters introduced.
4. The ending, last 100 pages, it began real exciting and face-paced.

All in all this was an OK addition to the series, I'm still a little unsure of what I want to rate this, but can't wait to read the 3rd one and finish off this series.

I really enjoyed this book. I feel sorry the movie adaptation of the first book was so weak. I wish the whole series could be adapted into film.
