A book that has stuck with me since I first read it. I can still have hours long conversations about it years after. A gripping plot and an interesting moral quandary at its heart.

Cuando empecé el libro no podía parar de leerlo y me lo leí de un día para otro. Me enganchó de la primera página a la última porque necesitaba saber el causante de todo y, aunque dudaba fuertemente entre dos personas en concreto, no fueron ninguna de ellas. Este es el primer libro que me leo de la autora y me ha volado la cabeza.

I chose this book because I enjoy Agatha Christie and her mysteries, but I felt like this one exhibited too many triggering topics. There were some anti-Semitic comments and when I was looking up this book online I saw that it had another name originally which was incredibly racist. 

I did think the mystery itself was well written and enjoyed that it was written following a poem, but the concerning classism and prejudices made it hard to enjoy.

Great entry into mystery and the queen of mystery herself Agatha Christie. Classic mystery and one of Christie's most well-known for good reason. The poem guides the story to who will die next in a countdown deserted island series of deaths. If you're one of those people who don't read epilogues this is the time to actually read it. Not even the edits and title change could erase the horrible racism of the time
