This book portrays such a raw and emotional story between Quinn and Graham. It shows how you don't always have to lose someone to grieve.
Sometimes, losing the expectation of someone, such as a child, could cause you to grieve the life you could've had.
Seeing the change in their relationship from the past to the present was such a good thing to add to the story because we see that they have lost so much more than people see. It shows us exactly what Graham and Quinn are missing in their marriage. They went from communicating all the time to hiding their pain from one another and never saying how they truly feel inside and it was so heart breaking to see a couple that was so perfect, lose their way because of the struggle that comes with
infertility
.

The whole mystery with not knowing what was inside of the box was so perfect.
Only finding out that they were love letters right before they opened the box was genius. Reading all the letters that Graham had written was so emotional. Since we had only been following Quinn's side of the things, I think that being able to see Graham's point of view was the missing piece of the story since we didn't know what he was thinking because Quinn didn't want to know what he was thinking.

Lastly,
I was so happy that Quinn decided she wanted to stay with Graham and that Graham was still so in love with Quinn that he didn't even need to read the letter she had written for him.
I personally feel as if this book is very realistic in a way that I could 100% see this happening to a couple in real life and can see them dealing with it in the same way. I think more people should read this book just because it's so good and so wonderfully delivers the story.

It was ok, I enjoyed the story but it just wasn't for me, I did however love the dogs name and how that came to be.

Wanted to either rate this a 2 stars or 5 stars. I hated how this book made me feel with the topics dealt with in this book but also for an author to pull out so much emotion from me makes me want to rate it high.
