This was my first CoHo read and I loved it!
It tackles the issue of infertility  with sensitivity, honesty and care.
The characters Quinn and Graham were lovable and I loved reading the ‘now’ and ‘then’ parts of their story, giving a greater context to their relationship.

The author could have wrapped the book up with the perfect happy families ending, but I love that it was more realistic and sensitive to the struggle of infertility, it doesn’t always end with a baby and that’s ok, though painful. I love that for Quinn and Graham their love for each other was enough! 💕

I recommend this book if you like:
-adult contemporary romance
-real life struggles
-chapters flick between past and present

This was a different read for me considering it wasn't YA or NA. This book focuses heavily on character flaws (infertility) which was difficult to get through at times but I enjoyed reading the 'past' chapters where the start of their relationship was very engaging and full of amazing chemistry.

I have enjoyed Colleen Hoover's writing and look forward to reading more of her books.

OKAY. I DEVOURED THIS ONE. What can I say, I love heart ripping, hair pulling, tear jerker reads as a form of self harm. Anyway, it all comes down to the complexity of the characters, the heaviness of reality, and the grey areas of marriage and the burden of infertility. MARRIAGE, I'm not even surprised is CoHo's niche. She knows which buttons to push to make us emotionally invested.

Let me start by saying that the affair is merely a walk in a park compared to the pain that the heroine felt throughout the years of trying to conceive. I just don't like the way she questions her womanhood as if bearing a child is her only purpose. But I can't blame her, of course. humans are wired differently. it's apalling, really, how having a child can either make or break a life or in their case, a relationship. I realized this as I compared Quinn and her mother. One wanted a child so bad while the latter didn't. I actually find their relationship ironic.

I did this to myself. I lured myself into a false sense of security because I broke my self-imposed CH book ban to read Reminders of Him and I survived it without emotional trauma, I actually really enjoyed it and so I decided to read All Your Perfects. Sigh.

Now, here I am broken hearted and still so upset with Graham, but so thankful they made it work in the end. Sigh.

4.5 STARS

Before I start this review and before you read this book, I urge you to look up the trigger warnings please!!

This book was an emotional rollercoaster. There were so many scenes that made me want to throw the book at the wall, but then I couldn’t because I needed to keep reading. The days that I was reading this book, I was always sad, even if I wasn’t even thinking about the book — it was extremely intense.

One day, Quinn goes to surprise her fiancé at his apartment. When she arrives, she meets a boy named Graham. Graham tells Quinn that her fiancé is cheating on her with his (Graham’s) girlfriend.

After this, Graham and Quinn build some type of connection and they spend some time together. Eventually, they part ways and meet again a few months later.

Graham and Quinn eventually get married, but they experience fertility issues. This has a huge impact on their relationship, and really drifts them apart. Quinn has always dreamed of being a mother and Graham has always wanted to be a father, so not being able to conceive takes a toll on them both.

But the question is, is love enough? Is love enough when there’s no happiness, intimacy, or communication anymore? Will Graham and Quinn be able to connect with one another once again or will they give up on each other?

This book does have the cheating trope, and I am definitely not a fan of that so it was so hard for me to love one of the characters but at the same time I couldn’t hate them?? It was such an emotional whirlwind.

At times this book made me so upset that I literally wanted to throw up. — that  was probably one of my favourite things about this book, the way it made me feel.

I loved how the book had “then” and “now” scenes. It gives the reader an idea of what Quinn and Graham’s relationship was like in the past, compared to what it’s like now.

If you are looking for a book that’s sad and happy and will break your heart, I would recommend this one! Colleen Hoover never disappoints with her books. However, if you’re already in a bad place emotionally, then I would save this book for a later time <3
