So...I cried 4 separate times while reading a book which is a personal record that I can only respect. Honestly and truly heartbreaking, this book broke my heart into smol tiny pieces and put them together with duct tape. Probably my favourite book of all time.

Graham's letters were the end of me like idk why the man says that he is not good with words because he has written and said the literal most beautiful things I have ever come across.

This book made me extremely nervous and anxious, I wanted to stop reading but at the same time continue reading ferociously because it was like getting into this couple intimacy and seeing everything, the things they're afraid of and their particular moments, the things they're ashamed of and the things they regret. It felt like I was there, not only watching or reading it like it was happening in from of my eyes.

The whole time I was so worried that they couldn't be together and every time I read the 'then' chapters I fell in love with their relationship and dynamic, and every time I read a 'now' chapter their pain was my pain, and I just wanted to scream and say that they loved themselves.

I can't say I fully understood Quinn, I understood her pain and suffering but I didn't understand this pain towards the thing she wanted the most, a child. I didn't understand because I don't want a child (at least no at this moment I guess) and for me every time she cried over this I felt detached. I guess Colleen Hoover is a genius because I thought about this book for a whole day and I thought "Why does Quinn make such a deal about it?" and I thought "It must be because this is something she can't have and humans are always chasing something we can't have" but then I thought about it more and it came to my mind that it is because she treats her inability to have kids like a flaw and it all made sense.

This book will wreck you!!! It had me crying at 4 am, pretty sure i was sobbing for most of it. But it's one of those books that's so good yet so emotional. It's not a fluffy light romcom read whatsoever and it deals with some pretty heavy and what could be triggering stuff. But i haven't read a book that has made me cry this hard. I now understand the hype arnd coho 😌.

Fuck this book broke my heart into a million pieces. But fuck it also put it back together again. I absolutely loved this. CoHo does it again. I loved both characters so much. Even though Graham had his flaws and made bad mistakes, and Quinn wasn’t the best wife,  I loved them so much, and I loved them even more together. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to be loved more than Graham loves Quinn. The side characters were also nice, but I do wish they had been more complex and played more of a role in the story. I think the relationships between Quinn and the characters could have definitely been more developed and shown a lot more. The book was very focused on Quinn and Graham’s characters as individuals and their relationship together, but didn’t really have much on their life outside of their own relationship. I would have liked to see them out a bit more. I loved the aspect of the mystery box, and what was inside when we did eventually find out. Reading his letters were probably the highlight of the whole story. I cried so hard during those letters. Throughout the book we never got his perspective so the things he did were questionable, but once he explained it all in the letters it all made sense and I loved him so much more. I have never wanted two people to have a happier ending than I wanted these two. Their love story was beautiful and I love them so much. This book has constantly been on my mind since I read it and has a special place in my heart. I love the ending, I love the plot twists, I love the way this was written I love this entire book. I was crying, then smiling, then smiling through the tears. This was a roller coaster of emotions but I loved every second of it, especially the Category 5 moments. I highly highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a beautiful love story that makes you cry a million tears.
