Erotic Romance. Stands alone, but is the first in a series.
I happened to start Meet Me In Room 108 by Nikki Sparxx at the same time as I was listening to an audiobook that started so similarly I was confusing them in my mind. Add to that the stress of the hurricane coming, and I just couldn’t focus on the book and enjoy it like I should. And when I say ‘enjoy’, it’s the kind of enjoyment my husband helps me out with if you know what I mean, because this book is H-O-T!
Normally if I decide to put aside a book, I don’t go back to it, but in this case, it wasn’t the book, it was me, because when I picked it back up, this super sexy “Pretty Woman” type story totally grabbed me and didn’t let go. It was hot, yes, but there was definitely a good amount of story and suspense that kept me turning pages the whole time.
Sabrina is a high-end prostitute in a hotel/club called “The Platinum”, run by her guardian and the head of the Russian mob. When she gives a handsome man her card, she doesn’t expect to have a real connection with him.

(Sidenote, this made me laugh because my son has a song on his album about getting a prostitute and just talking to her all night).
Braden was in no rush for sex. He had plenty of money to waste weekly until he had her BEGGING for him.
Believe me, the weeks building up were not all innocent, they were still hot as hell. Braden is a dirty-talking tease!

Sabrina nodded and whimpered, “Yes.”

It seems like Braden can just take her away from this life of prostitution, right? Well considering she was brought up like a daughter to the head of the Russian mob, things may not be that easy!
Things got pretty exciting at the end, and I would have loved for that to be a bit longer, but I must say, for a book with this much sex, there was a lot of good story, though it seems there were a few loose ends that leave me hoping for another in the series.
Likes:
- •Despite the plethora of sex, there is an intriguing story.
- •The build up to the actual act was hot.
- •I liked that it took time to develop love. They may have had an instant obsession, but it wasn't instalove.
- •Braden was such a demanding alpha in bed, but he wasn't the grunty kind of dickish alpha (if that makes any sense at all).
- •That there was some action and excitement.
Dislikes:
- •Though there is a good amount of story, this is a ladyporn book. It's not really a dislike, but you need to be in the right frame of mind to read this much sex. Have batteries or your man ready.
- •There were some loose ends about other characters.
The Down & Dirty:
If you are looking for a super hot and sexy read with a decent amount of story and some action thrown in, Meet Me In Room 108 fits the bill, just remember this Pretty Woman type story is erotic romance so despite it having a good storyline, it's still sex over story, so be prepared for a one-handed read!

Meet Me in Room 108 (The Platinum Hotel Series) by Nikki Sparxx was an intensely hot contemporary romance! It is written in alternating first person POVs by the two main characters: Sabrina & Braden. Wow, what an angsty hot read! This story engages from the start, and has you tearing through the pages to see what will happen! Sabrina is such a strong resilient woman who wants nothing other than freedom. Braden is completely focused on work. When these two collide, it’s magic. Chemistry so intense it’s palpable, you feel it when reading it. This book has ALLLLLLLL the feels! Can’t wait to read more by this amazing author!

It has drama, suspense,action, and the chemistry between the two characters ,is sizzling hot! Heck, you may even blush a little when reading it… yes, that’s how hot the sex scenes are!!
This is my first time reading a book by Nikki Sparxx. But since reading this, it will not be my last!! Her writing style is brilliant !! The characters are mesmerizing! Her story plot, will catch your attention from the get go. And then hold your interest until the very end!! Heck I couldn’t even put it down! I stayed up much longer than I should have.
Sabrina doesn’t believe in Love. She’s has a very difficult and hard life. Her heart has become cold and unattached!! All she needs is her hand full of friends and that’s it!!
Brayden Thomas is a millionaire bachelor every woman wants. Since meeting Sabrina ,he can’t seem to get her off of his mind.
What happens when their paths cross again? Will Brayden try to change Sabrina’s idea of love?
You gotta read this book! You will not regret it! It’s soo good!! You need to read to see what crazy ride, these two will take you on!

Braden Thomas world changed the night Sabrina handed him her business card. Sabrina was just going with the flow of life until Braden shows up at Room 108 and made dreams come true.
I enjoyed this book; it’s a little different than anything I have read in a while. This writer can write some steamy hot sex scenes; the chemistry between Braden and Sabrina made it so much hotter. I liked the added dark theme in this book kept me turning the page to see what was going to happen. Hoping for another book, want to see what happens next.

A great read from beginning to ending. I was glued to the pages and hated to have to put it down. I love how this story is set and the background and influences on Sabrina's character as these all contribute to how this book really hits you in your heartstrings as her situation and past bring her character to life. Lets not forget Braden he can be compared to a lot of guys we may know. He is a work obsessed, and afraid of commitment or so he thinks. Throw in the Russian Mafia and some drama and you have a very,very good book.
I really liked how the author brings in bits of the back story along with the present timeline and how it helps the reader to follow along with the story. Sabrina's forced career and backstory also let the reader be more open minded to the character cause in the real world there are many a woman like Sabrina forced to do things they dont want to do. This draws you in and makes you want to see how things unfold for Sabrina and Braden and want to continue reading to see if she gets her happily every after. I look forward to reading more of the authors work in future.

Wow what a book and an introduction to a new author! I was completely hooked on this book from the very first page. When I first read the blurb for this book I was intrigued and the book lived up to every expectation that I had. This book had a bit of everything I love which is definitely why I enjoyed it so much. I loved the suspense of it, the romance and the sex scenes were HOT!!!
When Sabrina and Braden first met I think it was pretty obvious that rules were going to be broken in Room 108! The chemistry between them was undeniable – even if I think they both tried to deny that there was anything at all between them. I loved the unique storyline that this book offered along with characters who I really did find a great connection with. There were some good secondary characters and I really hope that some of them get their own stories too!
Meet me in Room 108 was a really fantastic read and I highly recommend it!! I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Meet Me In Room 108 (The Platinum Hotel Series) by Nikki Sparxx is a story that has just a little bit of everything in it. This is my first story by this author and I really loved it! Her writing style is creative, free flowing and I loved that she could pull me in from the very first word. Her attention to details was great as they made me feel like I was right there with the characters. Her characters are connectable and you will fall in love with them. This story as a few twists and turns that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat one minute and needing ice water the next. You will also go on a roller coaster ride of various emotions from anger to compassion. They will hold your attention and keep you engaged until the last page. I can't wait for more from this author and what journey she will take me on next. This is the story of Sabrina and Braden. Sabrina has not always had the easiest life. She was pulled into working for the Russian Mob at an early age. She works as a high class whore, she will make all of your dreams come true in one night. When she is allowed to pick her own man of course she can't just chose any man, she chooses the one that sticks out the most. Braden was just looking for some fun and unattached sex. What he finds is a lot more then he realized. Their attraction for each other is real hot and so is their chemistry. Sabrina doesn't understand why she wants him so bad but then she has never been free to love. He really was just looking for something unattached, no feelings or strings attached but will she make him change his mind? What will happen when she reveals her secret? Will Braden get more then what he bargained for? When things become complicated will lives be in danger? I loved both of these characters. You couldn't help but feel compassion for Sabrina with everything that life has thrown at her. She is strong and I loved watching her grow throughout their story. I loved how Braden was able to see past the cover Sabrina was putting to see the real her. I also give him a lot of credit for seeing past what she does for a living. I had a hard time putting this book down because I just had to know what was going to happen next with them. They will keep you wanting more! I highly recommend this story as I know you will want to see what happens to Sabrina and Braden. Is it possible they could have a HEA in their future?

Meet Me in Room 108 is the first book in The Platinum Hotel Series by Nikki Sparxx. This is the first book by this author that I have read, and I can honestly say that I was hooked by what I was reading, it’s such an enticing read. Ms. Sparxx has definitely gained another stalker, opps reader- I mean reader. The story is sexy, seductive, erotic, and angsty. There is drama, danger, romance, tension, and some laughs. I discovered that Ms. Sparxx has a real knack for writing a fast paced, riveting read. Her style is dramatic, passionate and descriptive. She was able to create endearing, well developed characters with interesting personalities and backstories. It all made for a real page-turner that I devoured as quickly as my eyes could fly across the pages.
I loved Sabrina and Brandon’s story and if this first instalment is anything to go by, the series is going to be incredible. I am so looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
