I always fly through Lucinda Berry's books and One in Four was action packed from the first page. And that plot twist!!! I've seen some reviews complaining about trigger warnings but if you've ever read a Lucinda Berry book you know what to expect - they're dark and they don't always have a happy ending. I recommend this one to anyone looking to read a book that will have you feeling a little unsettled when you finish. I need to go watch a funny show after that, which is exactly how a good thriller should make you feel!

in one second this book a lot. This book took me a while to get into. It didn’t get “thrilling“ until about the 50% mark. That said it started off a little slow for me. The author took great pains to describe depression. I do really like the message of addiction, that addicts change on their timeline not yours and how addiction stunts your development. I think it’s very important and very well done. But I did feel the book drags a bit in the beginning . I like the flash back HER chapters and second half was unhinged.
