This book follows Bailey, a college girl who got broken up with on her birthday, and Chase, the star hockey player from her rival school.
This was pretty much exactly what you expect from a hockey romance. Chase is a shit talking hockey star, ready to rile up the opposing players on the ice. But in this case, his biggest rival happens to be Bailey’s ex-boyfriend’s hockey team. Chase is a super protective, filthy, reformed playboy - exactly what you expect from the MMC in a hockey romance 😂
This was your typical hockey romance. If you’re in the mood for a hockey romance, this would do the trick. My main critiques are that Bailey was a bit boring and the book was a little longer than it needed to be.
This would be a good read for you if you’re in the mood for: a hockey romance, ex’s rival, protective MMC, kind of friends to lovers
