What can I say about this book. I absolutely hated our main characters for a while. They seemed insane to me! I couldn’t understand how two people who argue and seem as unhappy as they did could be together. I got to a point where I didn’t know if I wanted to finish it or not, but I’m glad I did. The ending wrapped everything up beautifully and made the listen entirely worth it. I needed a low-stakes kind of book after reading some heavy fantasy. If you’re looking for something lighthearted (and maybe slightly irritating) definitely give this a try!

I think what I liked the most about this book was that both the main characters had icky problems that pissed me off throughout the book, but I was pleasantly surprised when they confronted each other with these problems and changed as people. I love personal personality progress.

This is one of my favorite Sophie Kinsella books! I loved how raw and real Ava and Matt’s relationship was as they worked through their differences. I laughed, I cried - I felt all the emotions. Highly recommend!
