Bittersweet is one of the first words that comes to mind after having read this all too short short story. I want to know more, so much more, about these dead refrigerator girls. Why did they start to appear? From where did they, and the refrigerators they climbed out of, come? Do they have something they wish to take care of? Where are they going, to where do they walk?
Were there no dead refrigerator boys?
I'm torn between wanting to give this all too short short story three or four stars; four because it was both lyrical and intriguing, and three because it left me feeling as if I've been robbed of the rest of it.
Dead girls have itchy trigger fingers. They hit back hard. You shouldn’t need to ask about the reasons for that.

We never would have believed, before the dead girls started climbing out of their refrigerators, that people could be literally resurrected by sheer indignation.
I actually loved this. I don't even know how to describe it, because the plot itself is vague. Dead girls begin reappearing and nobody knows why. It left me with so many questions (why only girls? why are they coming back? what's going on?) but somehow I'm not frustrated not knowing the answers because the writing was just awesome and strange in a great way. Abstract horror would be how I'd describe this. Definitely recommend!

So many beautiful statements made in this story... this is haunting and will stick with me for a long time.

ultimately this goes nowhere. the last few paragraphs struck me the most since they’re the only lines bearing any substance in the entire piece; i don’t mind the niche writing style, but when it serves no purpose then i’ll have to give it a pass
