I absolutely love this series! Cammi owns the coffee truck with the best coffee in town. That is what Elias tells himself is the reason he stops in so much! Cammi has a thing for him, but he is too grumpy and barley says two words to her. She figures that is just as well since her last relationship was a total disaster. Elias has always wanted Cammi and feels he doesn't deserve her so he stays at arms length, until he has to save her from a prickly burglar! This is the romance that their friends saw coming, regardless of how much they fight it. I love their story so much! It's got sass, humor, pain and guilt, but also the sweetest love! I received this ARC from Bad Boy Updates.

Elias and Cammie's love story is a sweet read. While they have known each other for years their love story happens very fast, but they have in fact been falling in love slowly. They each have issues that they have to overcome but they are so perfect together. It is alway fun to visit Diamond Creek and all the wonderful characters who live there.

Good story. Light hearted. Didn't love it just seemed they tried to do too much. Inconsistencies during it such as his usual coffee order changed.

Evers & Afters is the second book Dare With Me series by J. H. Croix. This book is Cammi and Elias story. In my opinion it was a slow read at the beginning of the book. It took me a little bit to get into the characters. There was so many characters to follow. With that being said I found the book to be good in the end.

Elias has been through a lot. He decided to take a job with his buddy in Alaska. That what brought him here to fly a plane. That where he meets Cammi a local coffee truck owner who he has crush. He has been visit every day for a cup just to to see her.

Cammi born and raised Alaska meets grumpy Elias when he started come to her coffee truck. It is said she sale to the best coffee in their little town. She too has a crush on Elias.

When Elias has plane accident Cammi start bringing him coffee at the hospital. And they get to know one each other then a miss understanding and Cammi doesn’t wait for Elias explain. She must start let go from the past and start trust herself before she can start anyone else.. We get to go this journey has no only does Cammi get over her past but also Elias must get the over his past in order for them to get their HEA.

Like I said before it was a slow beginning but it turn good. A lot good characters but I little hard to keep track of them. I would read another book from J. H. Croix

From the first book in the Dare with Me series, we could kind of tell Elias had a thing for Cammi, the coffee-lady. However, at the end of the first book, all we knew was Elias hurt after a plane crash. Flash forward to Evers and Afters, and the chemistry is still there.

Elias and Cammi's story is sweet with a bit of a twist as each works through past disappointments and heartaches. However, they overcome to a beautiful HEA with sweetness and steam. I enjoyed the low angst and the honesty of both parties as they worked to "get it right." Cammi is sweet to Elias' big broody persona, and it works wonderfully for them. I've enjoyed getting to know the characters in this series, and I look forward to the next installment.

Cute Small Town Romance!

I loved Elias and Cammi. They had chemistry from the start and I loved the sweetest between them.

Elias is ex-military and flies planes for various reasons in Diamond Creek. Cammi owns a coffee truck that Elias visits frequently and after he was in a plane crash that put him in the hospital for a period of time, Cammi would visit and bring him his daily coffee. Cammi and Elias are opposites. He is the grumpy type and she is a little ray of sunshine, but together they balance each other out.

There was so much chemistry between them and I couldn’t get enough of it. There was low drama, which was also enjoyable. But this story was emotional at times, too.

If you’re looking for a small town romance with low drama and loads of chemistry this is one to read!

“She’d pitched a tent in every corner of my thoughts whether I was awake or asleep.”

Evers & Afters is a sexy and sweet small town opposites attract romance.

Elias and Cammi have been getting to know each other over coffee, early in the morning. After Elias suffers a plane crash, Cammi continues to bring Elias his morning coffees in the hospital. They both have feelings for each other but due to past experiences they are afraid to move forward and give love a chance.

Elisa and Cammi's story is a natural slow burn that is worth the wait that once they come together the sparks fly. Their interactions leading up to them connecting physically were endearing and made their story so much more. The side characters played a large part in this story which makes me interested to get their stories.
