Julien is unfortunately me, like I just get him. Anyway this was incredibly fun to read and very thrilling and dramatic. I thought id hate the ending after a certain thing happened but upon thinking about it, I find it to be a really great portrayal of a loss of an old more heroic time and that all the characters are just trying to play it but it looks like a parody in the 19th century. Also the class critique was really interesting both from how the upper class character perceived Julien but also how he perceived himself as appart from all the other classes
