Idk. I like so much of it, and I also don’t. It’s so creative, yet I am so torn. I want the second one, then we’ll decide. I’m not saying you shouldn’t read it, though, it’s worth a read because it’s so different for our genre, I just need to see where this goes.

Wow. This was so good. Trials and battles. Flirting and banter. Magic and power. The dead enemy king can hear the thoughts and desires of everyone, including her. The heir of his kingdom that was taken from him. He's supposed to steal her soul but what happens when she softens his heart?
This is going to be another re-read of mine and i CANNOT wait to have the next book. (Ps i also cannot wait for a physical copy pleaaaseee). The characters, the world building, the romance? I loved it all.

if he called her “little beast” one more time 😤 not feeling this one, everyone feels 1-dimensional and while the magic system seems interesting the world is meh.
3.75 stars I really like this but there was something hard to explain for me that was happening. Maybe it’s lack of editing? I was lost and forgetful at times. There was a lot of lore and realm building, which I love, but it was a little hard to follow and remember? Loved all the elements just would have liked it to flow a bit better. Will be reading book two.
i really enjoyed this book! went really crazy at the end. defs looking forward to the next. loved dagen and nizzara and their spirit stuff.
Pretty good, would read the next one. Seemed to be written quickly and had a few plot holes but over all liked the world and story line
