When severe food poisoning strikes her twin sister’s wedding, usually-unlucky Olive Torres and her nemesis (and brother of the groom) Ethan Thomas find themselves the only two guests left standing. Rather than let the sweepstakes-prize Maui honeymoon go to waste, the two decide to jet off to Hawaii—and soon figure out they may not be each other’s worst enemy after all.
2022 is quickly turning into the year of Christina Lauren for me and I am not complaining AT ALL. I absolutely loved this book—equal parts funny and sweet and spicy and delightful, and I particularly adored the body positivity aspects of the plot, which are still too rare in the genre. Plus, fake relationship enemies to lovers is possibly my favorite romance trope, and The UnHoneymooners is easily a classic in that regard, with bonus beachy vibes that were perfect for the mid-March sunshine and escapism I was hoping for. If you like rom-coms and haven’t read this one yet, go grab it IMMEDIATELY.
Recommended to anyone, but especially if you like: enemies-to-lovers; body positivity; beachy rom-coms.
CW: Vomit/illness; discussions of body-shaming/fatphobia; infidelity.

This was a super fun story. It's fast-paced, the writing is easy to read, and the characters are loveable. For once the miscommunication trope was used because it made sense, not just to create unnecessary tension between the characters. Both love interests had great chemistry, and the banter between them was definitely my favorite part of this.
I do think, though, that a few conflicts were resolved a little too easily and should have been talked about more by the characters.
I feel like it should also be noted that (contrary to what I feel like is floating around about this book) this is NOT super sexy. Every possible sex scene is fade-to-black. This was nice for me because as an asexual person I didn't feel quite ready to jump into super smutty romance, so it was a good stepping stone for me to get into the genre.
All in all, this was a super quick, fun read that I was able to finish in one sitting, and a good starting point for anyone looking to start reading romance.
