What did I just read and why did I enjoy it? There were some continuity errors and factual errors (why was there a jury in a custody hearing, I'm so confused!). It was a great book to read and turn your brain off while doing so.

This book... I don't even know how to describe my feelings for this book honestly. I really liked the romance between the two main characters and I loved Sophie and Roxanne, but I spent so much time getting pissed of at the CPS woman and at Jake and Julianne that I felt like it took away from the story a bit. Not bad... But I would have liked a bit more romance and a bit less drama.

Not the best story ever. Started off good and then it just got into some tangled web. A crazy stalker ex-boyfriend. A mean and out of cash ex-wife. A blunt and kinda mean grandmother. A weird and far too advanced 5 year-old. Way too many factors in this book.

I kind of loved this story. I liked that there was a total element of surprise to it. There was also a lot of comedy. The mother in the wheelchair cracked me up. And then all the other craziness happening! I absolutely LOVED Liam! But I am going to be honest. He tries to get freaky with her once and she says she wants to save herself, and he was ok with putting on the breaks because he didn't want to mess things up with her.... Cool great guy! But then that very same night they end up having sex.... without him asking her if she was sure this was what she wanted, or acknowledging that he had just said earlier that she wasn't ready. Some of the things that were happening with the custody battle and such were a little on the extreme side.... but then again you are talking about people that have more money than they know what to do with.... so

I picked this one up for a prompt from the Romanceopoly Challenge I'm doing this year. I got 22% in (about 40 pages) and just couldn't go on. It's just not good. I don't like the characters. The plot was unbelievable. Things were happening really fast. It just wasn't for me. So it's a DNF for me and a book I will be getting rid of. If I had to rate it, I would give it 1 star, but I'm not doing it officially since I haven't finished it.
