This novella was such a sweet story to add to this series. Bael and Jillian are expecting their firstborn soon and when you are expecting a supernatural child, only a supernatural midwife will do! Charlotte comes to the rescue not only to the expectant couple but also to the Jillian and Sonya's adorable office assistant, Leonard. You see, Leonard's entire family was cursed by a fairy ages ago. Their love story is sweet and the perfect addition to this series.
Now don't get me wrong, there is still a TON of humor and sarcasm that this series is known for. Zed is his usual weird self and there is even an unpredictable bad guy lurking in the background! Don't miss out on this hysterical and sweet addition to the series!

As the birth of Jillian and Bael's baby draws near, Charlotte McBee, the fairy midwife, arrives in the small town of Mystic Bayou to help with the delivery, and also comes to the aid of Jillian's assistant, Leonard, whose entire family is living under a curse.
This novella provides a quick update on the goings-on in Mystic Bayou now that the supernatural community has been outed to the world. All of the couples from the previous installments put in an appearance and their close camaraderie and teasing are delighful. Zed, of course, steals the show like always.
Charlotte and Leonard are an adorable couple and their romance is very sweet. Leonard awkward clumsiness is cute and the way the town embraces Charlotte is wonderful.
Lokking forward to the next full book in the series.

This is such a fun series. I love Molly Harper's books but this series is my absolute favorite!
