ahhh I need the next one rn

4.5 stars. Even more painful than volume one what the fuck?! This series is not an easy read at all but it's well written, gorgeously drawn and the Queer struggles of the characters hit me hard.

Another charming volume in which we explore the difference between orientation and gender identity, which I appreciate.

The Author came out as asexual and X-gender on twitter in 2012. Their experiences are reflected in this series. -Wiki

Trigger Warning (for the series) : Homophobia, Self hate, Suicidal ideation, suicide attempt (not carried out at the last moment), bullying, transphobia, pain caused by people's ignorant but good intentions, being involuntarily outed, social anxiety,

This manga was a bit hard to read because so many of the topics/events that are depicted are things that LGBT folks experience so commonly regardless of age. Topics like being outed when you don't wan to be. Topics like discussing your orientation or gender with those around you including family. Topics like figuring out how you identify and realizing that not everyone identifies like you do and wondering if they truly will understand you. Or realizing that you don't need others to understand you but at the very least to respect you and not pity you. There was so much damage done to the LGBT community when being non-straight and non-cis was seen as a disorder, and illness and that is shown in this title. Even though it was a bit hard to read, I still really really enjoyed the series. I haven't read the last volume because my library didn't have it but as soon as I get my hands on it I'll update the review. Also I ended up reading volumes 1,2 and 3 in one sitting so I'll be posting the same review for all 3.
