Fun but bloated, more of a short story than a novella.

Feels like a bit more of a return to the slightly deeper storytelling that the earlier books in this miniseries had. It's got some nice material for Will Riker as he gets to confront his feelings about what his "evil twin" Tom did.

It's also got some horribly sloppy writing and some unforgivable mistakes that should have been fixed in the editing stage (a character who isn't present in a conversation joins in, and then arrives in the room a few sentences later). Maybe e-books don't get quite as much scrutiny as physical ones?

I'm also quite enjoying the character of Lt. Daniels.
