Cheesy without being cloying, a couple you can root for, problems that seem realistic, and a whole lovely and alive cast of characters and setting. I loved this book and I love Terry and all of his surf wisdom and the little tiny mystery about the beach notes/kayak accident. One of the best Kinsella books I’ve read in a long time.

Sophie Kinsella is an old fav of mine, but it's been years and years since I've read anything by her for whatever reason.

This book reminded me why I loved her books. It was laugh out loud funny at points, the whole club biscuit scene was hilarious. It was also hopelessly romantic. A great summer rom-com.

My brain is broken at the moment and this is all I can read but it was cute

Cute but predictable summer beach read

Very funny, made me giggle a lot and some of the jokes stuck with me outside of reding the book.
Loved the Terry subplot, was super wholesome and touching.
