What the hell? I really really liked that book. It sat on my tbr for way too long, but at the same time, I don’t have to wait much for book 2… As far as Romantasy books, this was more "Roman" than "antasy" but in the best way. Felt a bit like a Mafia Romance, the vibes were vibing. Miss Cate is everything that I need in a FMC, shes fierce, not 18, says what she thinks, is smart. Loved her. The banter between her and moody Gage, *chef’s kiss*. Not really an enemy to lover, since HE never hated her. I can’t give it a 5 star because the "tasy" part should’ve been a little better imo, BUT there is so much room to grow in book 2. Excited to read it.

Now I was in love with the Filthy Rich Vampire series, I mean I read all 4 books in like a week. So when I saw Filthy Rich Fae I had to pick it up and then I got busy with other books and life and such so it got added to my TBR until now. Let's just say I regret waiting!
This books was literally perfection! It had everything I love in enemies-to-lovers type of book. There was forced proximity, he falls first, whitty banter, found family, etc. etc. etc.
I could truly keep going on about how much I loved Lachlan and Cate. Both characters felt real with flaws and strengths and motivations for the things they were doing. Honestly *chef's kiss*
And the ending! Ugh I need the next book right now! I basically stayed up all night just to finish the book and let me tell you the last 4 chapters were an absolute whirlwind with twist and turns I didn't see coming!
