This was a really good hurt/comfort story. I loved the dynamic between the characters and the plot was really good too.

This seemed like a great book. Amber is extremely damaged, and she wants nothing more than to try to start her life over. She moves in with her brother and his roommate, Zach, who’s been informed about her anxiety issues. Zach seems like the perfect love interest, and he really is, aside from one thing. If you’ve read the other reviews, you probably already know what I’m talking about.
Aside from that annoying character trait for the love interest, the book was quite good, and Cora Reilly did an excellent job of writing about a damaged woman finally learning to heal herself.

I hate Heros who cheat on the heroine. Like why was that even necessary to include in the story? Ugh!Aside from that annoying character trait for the love interest, the book was quite good, and Cora Reilly did an excellent job of writing about a damaged woman finally learning to heal herself.

I don’t know why people are saying he cheated on her, they weren’t together!
I loved the couple and I really enjoyed the narrative, it was very touching

My heart ache for Amber. I think this is my first time crying since I read it in the beginning. The struggles she had and everything that she had to cope she was so strong! I love the fact that Zach heals, helps her and love her.

Better than I expected. I started this book this morning and I finished it this evening all in one sitting. Though there is an almost 'cheating' scene involved, but this time, I didn't get bothered by it too much. The most definitely cheating scene when he bang the other woman while in the same house as Amber, I don't count it as cheating as they didn't get together yet. But that depends on technicality.
All in all, this book was what I was searching at the moment and hence the four stars I bestow upon it.
The only reason why it got a four and not five was because it was a bit short for me. And the transition where Amber went between the meek to brave, was a bit unexplored and short. And the character development was not much per say.
Other than that, a superb read.
