Comments: Hidden secrets, town scandals and a tale of two brother who are completely opposite, His Secondhand Wife seems to have it all. Its eye catching title and the fact that it is book two in a series I have just began, compelled me to pick it up and quickly devour it.

Two people who have felt unloved and unwanted find one another in this sweet story. I would have liked the conflict to be something other than their inability to communicate well, yet I can understand their insecurities contributing to the misunderstandings.
This was my first time reading this author and I enjoyed the succinct manner in which she tells this story and transports the reader.

I give this 4.5⭐️ I just enjoyed this so much! Noah is so cute! His quiet steady nature was adorable and I loved seeing him open up over time. This gave me all the feels. Kate was really sweet too. I loved how determined she was to make the most of things.

Summary: A rancher takes his late brother's pregnant wife into his home, where they become close despite family interference
Stats: HR - Western, M/F, closed door (?), stand alone.
Notes: Enjoyed overall - the FMC is a little one note and the resolution a little incomplete for me, but definitely more my speed than some of St John's other books.
Didn't take content notes

I loved the two main characters, especially Noah. I’m on an arranged marriage/marriage of convenience kick and this was the perfect fit.
I was a little frustrated toward the end with the ‘lack of communication’ trope. Totally justified with the character personalities and it fits the story line but toward the end I was ready to shake them both.
Overall though a great story. A hint of spice, the author had a good balance of not being fade to black but not being full on smut. There weren’t racist tones or comments that you sometimes see with books set in this time period/genre. And I loved that although the side characters didn’t get storylines their personalities were still explored.
This is the second book I’ve read by this author and it made me want to read the rest of her work! Definitely a fan!

I liked this book, but I wasn’t completely satisfied.
I liked Katy and Noah, and even though a lot of their problems are because they weren’t communicating what they wanted, I understood both of them, so it didn’t bother me as much. I did want to see more scenes with them interacting with others after they sorted out their communication issues, though.
I didn’t like Estelle and I didn’t think that the one scene at the end was enough to forgive her treatment of Noah.
I liked seeing the other characters from the first book, but I wanted to see more scenes with them.

sweet story
I found this story very sweet. Some things were a little fantastical but I did enjoy their story quite a bit. There are some sex scenes between the married couple
