This is extremely silly and fun. It starts on a kind of philosophical note (how can you tell you're not imaginary?) but then turns into a completely lighthearted, frothy, funny romp.
This book was amazing. Not only will I be purchasing a few of these for Christmas gifts this year, I will probably have to buy myself a copy to read to my future grandchildren.
First and foremost, the fact that there was a reference to The Beatles's song Octopus's Garden sealed the deal for me. But honestly, I both chuckled to myself and laughed out loud at both the wonderful writing, which was amazingly witty and snarky for a kid's book, and the illustrations, which were just perfect.
This little book would most definitely be enjoyed by kids of any age, as well as adults. Sometimes reading the same style children's books to your little ones gets a bit boring, but adding this in thie mix will induce giggles from everyone.

Definitely a novel for younger kids since there not a lot of text, but it just looked so Fricking cute that I had to read it and I was not disappointed by its levels of cute. Its full of cheesy little puns and the drawing are really well done. It’s little stories about a waffle loving narwhale and his best friend a jellyfish, and whats better then that >-<. Can't wait to read the others when they come out.

Joy said she loved it. She does not want to give me a review. She wants to go to bed. Joy read the whole book to me! First “chapter” book she has read to me all by herself. Narwhal and Jelly are my two new favorite characters.
