Super cute and adorable!

Love this graphic novel series for early readers. My kids absolutely love these characters. While I don’t really enjoy when they shout out WAFFLES in a fit of uncontrollable laughter, I do love that they love the books.
funny lighthearted fast-paced

An utterly delightful book, Narwhal deals with inclusiveness and imagination as well as finding positivity - great characters and some valuable life lessons.
Hopefully this will be a best seller ☺️

Narwhal the Narwhal and Jellyfish - these guys are awesome and my new favorites! I might just need to make a tusk-tooth and form a pod. She's even got a great Narwhal Song! And waffles!!

"Unicorn of the Sea!"

"I can't believe this! The thing I'm imagining is imagining that it is imagining me."

"Want to go eat waffles? Um..sure! Nom nom nom"

"For shark!... Turtley!...Podtastic!"

If you're reading this book to gain information...go get on gale research. Narwhal has made my week better just by being the cute little narwhal he is. Jelly is awesome too. I got this for my sixth graders and they will read it. The Kawaii style drawing will win many over, but just the subject itself is enough. Ben Clanton may be my new leader.

This charming first installment in the Narwhal & Jelly graphic novel series features two characters —the sharply-horned, but very imaginative and optimistic Narwhal and a soft and squishy, but somewhat cynical, stinging jellyfish, Jelly—who, despite their complete differences, become fast friends. The graphic novel is broken up into three short chapters—how they met, how Narwhal formed a pod with all his friends (whilst accidentally hurting Jelly’s feelings by mistake), and how they read a blank book together using only their imaginations (a trait Jelly has to learn with Narwhal’s help). A few entertaining pages break up the chapters. The illustrations—mainly in shades of black, white, and blue with splashes of yellow, are simple, but delightful; Jelly’s facial expressions are particularly engaging and humorous. This would make a fantastic introduction to the graphic novel genre for many young readers, and lots of children will be able to relate to the characters’ experiences of what it takes to make (and keep) your friends.

I absolutely loooooooooved this! Narwhal is awesome, I love the enthusiasm, acceptance and sense of adventure and inclusion. Can't wait to read more of the series.

This is the HAPPIEST book I have read in a LONG time. I want to buy 12 of them and pass them to kids that I love.
