Well that definitely had my jaw on the floor… not in a good way though.
Most of these characters felt way younger than they were supposed to be and honestly, they were all kind of stupid. Also, I’m beyond angry about that ending.

This is more like 3.5 stars rounded up. I needed something kinda fluffy and summery post-wedding, nothing too long or really complicated. This fit the bill. A summer camp thriller, secrets, lies and murders.. and a twisty ending on the very last page. Natasha Preston's books are not very deep but they are usually kind of fun reads for me. This one was just okay for me, I felt like it took a while to get going and felt a little redundant.. but it had the vibe I was craving.

Honestly, this one is an insane one. I didn't have any idea what was happening or what was going on or how. I can only imagine how scared they were while dealing with everything. I was not happy with the ending at all.

The beginning was super slow. Lots of unnecessary story drag. But it picked up half way through and definitely gave me a surprise ending.
