Absolutely loved this book! Switches perspectives at great times without spending too much time away from any character. I found myself very invested in each story and how they connected. Really beautiful story of healing and self fulfillment. It had enough mystery and intrigue to make it a page turner, and enough emotion to make me reflect long after finishing the book.

This book starts out a little slow in the beginning but quickly picks up. I loved the way the elements of Nella and Eliza’s stories from 1791 connect with Caroline’s story in modern times. This book definitely had unexpected twists that kept you guessing until the end
