Read this for the Coursera "Fantasy and Science Fiction" course. A little long and verbose, but certainly the best horror/gothic novel I have read.

Stoker reminds me of Conan Doyle's darker stories of unease and horror. There is much to be enjoyed in this compact anthology of stories with different tastes, vivid imaginations and depth.

Good short read. Somewhat abrupt in style but enjoyable.

Each story is different and scary in different ways. There were a plethora of drastically different characters with different motives.

This gave me Phantom of the Opera vibes. A story of love and betrayal, and some of the tension between the cast members of theatre production.

Honestly glad this was left out of the final product. A pretty mid to low value appendage 🤷‍♂️
