On the one hand I'm like...what the hell did I just read? On the other, where can I get more of it? This book is a disturbing take on the apocalypse and definitely something I would only recommend for someone with specific tastes. I'm not sure how to properly review it without spoilers, but boy, did I have a good time!!!!
Felt like three unfinished books. I liked the first parts well enough to give this a 3, but the book as a whole is a 2.

Even from reading the synopsis I could tell there was going to be some sexual explicit content, some murder, and Eldrich horror... well since this is the first book I have ever read with this line up I was not prepared.
Don't get me wrong I loved it. The characters felt real and reacted how you assume people would. The world was pretty real considering you have people who like eating brains and blood.I love when characters or stories come full circle and this hit every one right on the head.
The horror of it wasn't horror like but it definitely left me with my jaw on the floor. Every time I thought it wouldn't get worse or more gory than this it did.
There is a chance for a second book since some parts were left open ended, but it was still a pretty satisfying conclusion to me. :)

It was a slow beginning, the dialog seemed stiff, the mc had no emotions ,especially when her fiancé told her her family died, then she just moved on?
