Sister, Maiden, Monster is a wild ride from start to finish. The first part had me hooked with its intriguing premise and compelling characters. But then, the second part escalates into a frenzied pace, leaving me wondering, "What the heck is happening right now?" By the third part, the characters' stories intertwine, providing more answers and deepening my investment in the narrative. The ending? It left me wanting to slap someone! But I liked it!!!
This story is crazy, gory, and filled with WTF moments. I appreciated the unexpected sci-fi elements woven into the plot. I dove into this book thinking it was a dark, witchy fantasy, and it turned out to be something entirely different, and I kind of liked the surprise. This is what happens when I don't read the blurb. 😅

Not really bad, but definitely not my cup of tea, if like you sex and violence mixed then this would be perfect for you.  Also felt a little heavy handed at times with its messaging. But interesting premise and very unique.

Absolutely adored this!!! I typically don’t love pandemic books after living through one myself, but this was great. Lucy A. Snyder wove the stories and characters together so masterfully, it really felt more organic than planned. This was so fun!

“So I crawl back to her book and keep reading her words, like a rat gorging itself on poisoned bait.”

I recommend it, not for being well written, but for being well-written enough and exploring new spaces.

We experience a front-row seat to the next global pandemic, only this time the viruses are mutating people.

Sister, Maiden, Monster contains three short stories about women living through a Biblical/Lovecraftian end of the world.

The ride is nothing short of intense, diving head first into some dark and socially uncomfortable topics.

This was wild, insane, amazing, and I desperately need more. If there is ever a continuous of this I will be first in line for it.
