I really wanted to like this book more, but I just couldn’t. The horror elements were really good and the body horror was definitely unsettling, but the exposition and dialogue was a bit cringey (for lack of a better word).

I also agree with others and really don’t think Jeffrey Dahmer needed to be referenced at all. I’m going to be honest, I really don’t know if I would recommend this book to someone.

I don’t know exactly what I just read but I think I enjoyed it.
Definitely gory though, and there were parts that rubbed my the wrong way. I don’t know, I think I’ll have to think on it for awhile
