Some wild and cool stuff happening in this book. It didn’t like. cohere into a whole for me though, like there were a lot of things that were unclear or unsatisfying to me even though I read it in like a day and think I would have remembered a lot of stuff. Because of this a lot of details and character stuff didn’t feel like they were woven into the book, just sort of added on top. Ultimately fun read but again, a little unsatisfying.
This book was amazing. It’s a gore filled eldritch horror terror fest with feminism sprinkled all throughout. I had to stop reading a couple times as it did make me gag a little but so worth it. I hope there is a follow up or sequel.

I really enjoyed this for what it is which is a cosmic Eldritch horror.
This female driven narrative has the gruesome horror elements in the first story. The second has the human behavior horror and the third has the human witness. I feel like all of this things are desired in a cosmic horror.
It does burn bright and fast in the first story and than slows down in the last two however I enjoyed it and felt like in the end it all came together.
4 and not 5 because it does leave me with questions. it did leave some lose ends however I don't think that takes away from the story per say. Feels like there is potential for a second however I feel like there won't be able it is left open ended for a reason of hope in a way.

Kinda wish this book was longer tbh.
But I seriously loved the horror. Also the allegories for freedom.

I’m not even sure what to say lmao. It started off so strong and then it took a drastic turn and by the end of the book I had no idea what was even happening anymore…
