OMG what was that ending? Thank God I don't have to wait for the sequel because that would be TRAGIC.

The rest of the story was great, but I don't have time to discuss that--excuse me while I go crack open the third book. *runs*

4.5 stars.

Having separated from each other for what they thought was the last time, Noemi Vidal soon finds herself in a trap to lure Abel back to Earth. When the secrets of Burton Mansfield and Earth are exposed, it is up to Noemi and Abel to escape his clutches and stop the attack on Genesis. Unfortunately, this book ends in a serious cliffhanger that will leave fans eager for the final book in the trilogy.

Totally pleased—minus my despair over the cliffhanger ending—with this second installment of the Constellation series.

Gray is terrific at creating a plot with action, great characters and twists galore. I hope someday she writes a more adult novel, not just YA, since the writing at times feels juvenile. I will continue to the last installment of this trilogy to see how Abel and Noemi's adventures conclude.

I really enjoyed the 1st book in the series but this one just didn't grab me as much as I'd hoped.

Also I swear this was meant to be a duology ??

Great follow up to Defy the Stars. Love when the second book picks up right where the other one left off. We continue to follow Abel and Noemi as they sort out their feelings about what it is to be human while they try to save the galaxy. All the characters from the first book reappear in so many wonderfully satisfying ways. Really enjoyed it...but I am not sure I am going to love the third or next installment...I would have been happy to have it end here...

A great follow up to Defy the Stars. I love how Claudia Gray explores ethical complexities in an engaging way. Noemi and Abel have such well developed characters and distinct voices, which really shows through with the alternating POV chapters. Very excited to finish this series so these kiddos can get their happy ending!
