A fun sequel to Divine Rivals!  Nothing revolutionary, but often a second book in a series can drag, however this one did not!  It felt very in line with the first; just as engaging and as easy of a read to escape with.

It’s better than the first, but it gave no explanation about the gods nor how some things worked. Also, there was no “consequence” for killing a god? Like Enva could have said time before how to kill him. I guess it had to be Iris. The end felt pressured as if she didn’t know how to the end the book.
