I wish I had read this prior to reading Milkman. I listened to the audio and the narrator was great. The book explains the complexities of “The Troubles” in great detail and while I still don't understand it all, I think I could reread Milkman with a bit more understanding.

I have never understood the IRA, this was very informative and interesting, if not a little overwhelming, so much information.
