Never read anything quite like this, but loved the survivalist aspect of the story and how it was told in a mysterious way that had me super intrigued and connected to the characters and plot. Justice 4 Bo!

I really didn’t like this book unfortunately. I don’t prefer how much of it was the main character alone and absolutely hated the ending.
Major trigger warning for animal death and violence

I want to read this book again right away (but I probably won’t). I absolutely loved it! It was always so exciting and intriguing and I never wanted to put it down...! I just seriously love everything about this book. I think it’s one of the best survival/adventure stories I’ve ever read (there haven't been many). I think it was realistic and I’m really glad we were able to see some character development and observe how her state of mind changed. It was all just so GOOD. AH!
There were some small flaws I believe, but as a somewhat new and awestricken reader of pure survival stories, they didn’t really matter to me. I was all for the survival and watching Jess figure out how to live with nature.
It literally made me cry. Like, twice.

I’m just not a fan of survival books.
