Another enjoyable read from Nora Roberts. I’m really enjoying the Bridal Quartet and am looking forward to the conclusion in Happily Ever After. In fact, that’s the most anticipated of the four for me. I found that Laurel and Del’s story, childhood friends who fell in love, to be a sweet and very satisfying read. They had all the sparks that lead to a great romance that even though they tried to keep light, they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. Some great teasers for what to expect from book four. Great read!

Not as good as #2 which wasn't as good as #1. I do have #4 waiting to read.

This was probably my least favorite book in the series. I didn't really understand the romance aspect of it- it was a poorly done friends turn lovers plot. I also didn't really like the main character Laurel. Still, I'm this close to the end of the series- might as well read the next one.

As with the first two this book is fairly predictable but still an enjoyable ride. I think the reason this whole season is appealing to me, and to so many other people, is that it depicts the life everyone wishes they could have. Perfect job, perfect friends, perfect living arrangements, perfect income, and eventually the perfect man to top it off. Of course, the families aren't perfect but that's because it would completely destroy any sense of reality if they were. Families are always screwed up in one way or another.
Anyway, this specific book got back to dialogue that I could easily understand and follow, unlike the last one. It also dealt with the disparities between the different girls' wealth and lack thereof, which I really enjoyed. I thought it lent a very relatable twist to the romantic relationship as well, at least for me.

Thankfully, it gets better after the first two books for the Bride Quartet series. It gets lengthier, too. I enjoyed Savor the Moment more than the first two books. I love how the story builds up, how the characters communicate and how they each has their own reservation.

I do, however, hate Laurel McBane a little bit. A very tiny bit. She's a bit whiny for me, a bit too bitter. She bakes magnificent cakes, though. So she's redeemed. And she's got Del. I mean, who could ever go wrong with Delaney Brown? He's your essential husband material. And I'll leave it at that.

But you know what's best about this one? The build up to Parker's story. That will be the fourth and final book in the Bride Quartet series. Roberts teases me a lot with bits and pieces of what will be Parker's love story with Malcolm in Bed of Roses and Savor the Moment. I love both of them already!

Okay, next!

Least favourite of the series so far. It just got really slow before the halfway mark which made it hard to read
