3.5 stars for this story of motherhood, drama, and mystery. I felt the pacing of this book was too slow for a thriller. It was a bit of a chore to read at times, but it picked up in the last quarter. I appreciated how most of my questions were answered, with a few surprises thrown in at the end.

3.5 - This book was great in terms of getting me to suspend my disbelief. I often find that I don't buy the reveals in a thriller or that I don't get the character motivations, but I actually did believe all of it this time. I'm not really sure why I'm not giving it a higher rating other than I just don't anticipate the story sticking with me at all. I think I also didn't totally connect with the characters - even though I believed they existed.

This was a very enjoyable read. That being said, I feel like I figured out too much. I gave it 3.75 stars for the experience.
